This is one picture that has and will always have a special place in my heart. After the tragedy of September 11Th 2001, I as the world was moved so very much by the senseless cowardly act that took place on the city of NY. As an artist the only way I felt I could contribute the the healing process was to paint. So I created a picture of the Statue of Liberty crying, possibly the most important piece of art I've ever created. And I send that to the city of NY from Sydney Australia, where I was living at the time of 911. I sent it with a letter to the mayor of NYC. And in turn got back far more then I had ever hoped. The Mayor of the city personally wrote me back a beautiful and touching letter. And I have the pleasure, the honor of now saying that my painting is now on permanent display in the foyer of City hall NYC. And of all the gifts given to the city during that time my painting is the ONLY picture on the walls of the Foyer of that building. So Thank you NYC and America. It was so very special for my work to be honored in that way.
