This was a unique concept, not just a boring vinyl place mat, this one was tagged with T-ink a conductive ink technology. When the child touched sections of the place mat it would complete an electrical circuit and make a sound of that character through a small speaker. It was very cool. Series of 4 were designed. I can only find the one sample illustration. But it should convey the idea.
